Welcome to our Community Drumming website! We'd like to emphasize that the mission of our site is to make drumming enjoyable and an integral part of your life. Communitydrumming.com was designed to be an interactive and learning environment that promotes recreational drumming.
Group drumming succeeds when participants play their parts with a spirit of community, which will create rhythms that groove and unite. Individual practice is also suggested to help build skill and confidence.
We encourage you to contribute your ideas and comments. Once again our goal is to make drumming fun for all people.

LP Clinician and Drum Circle Facilitator Jim Greiner will lead his annual FREE benefit community drumming event in downtown Santa Cruz in the parking lot of Union Grove Music at 1003 Pacific Ave. (shade canopies provided). This year's event will benefit Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services. Jim will raffle off an LP World Beat Conga with stand, donated by Latin Percussion, with all proceeds going to Jacob's Heart. Raffle tickets are $5 at the event.
Everyone, at anylevel of experience, with any kind of drum or percussion instrument is enthusiastically welcomed to join in on this all-ages, long-time Santa Cruz community tradition! Instruments provided, and bring your own.
